Dana Pecco

Case Manager

Dana Pecco has over 15 years of experience working with children and adolescents with special needs. Prior to joining the team at Celebrate Ability, Dana held various positions in the special education and mental health fields in Maryland and Pennsylvania, starting as a 1:1 in-home ABA staff, then transitioning to a supervisory role as a Behavior Specialist Consultant, Autism Director, Specialized Outpatient Therapist, and School Counselor. Through these positions, Dana has fine-tuned her experience within a wide variety of mental health needs across home, school and community settings. In addition to evidence-based practices, she specializes in Trauma-informed care and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy. Dana obtained her master’s in counseling at Johns Hopkins University. Becoming a mother to twin girls in 2019 only amplified the compassion that she already felt toward supporting families and engaging in the world of Autism. She is passionate about empowering and motivating ALL individuals and their families to discover and connect with their true potential and exceptional place in the world so their individual voices can be heard by all.
