Adult Life Planner Supervisor

Carly is thrilled to be a part of the Celebrate Ability team as an adult life planner.  She brings over a decade of transition and adult life planning experience through her roles as a transition specialist in a local school system, DDA support broker, and a licensed school administrator.  She has worked directly with schools to develop rigorous transition plans for students, support families in navigating the transition process, and bridge the connection between the school system and DDA provider agencies.  As an educator across the middle school, high school, and off-site college campus settings, she brings extensive expertise in direct instruction for individuals in functional academics, employment preparation, daily living and independent living skills, and has authored multiple curriculum-writing projects within the school system.  Carly has also worked as a direct support staff and family consultant through the autism waiver. As the sibling of two adult brothers with autism, Carly brings passion and life-long experience to her work and believes every family can be empowered to make choices that best fit their needs.
